Unobstracted visibility to satellite
Satellite transmissions need an unhindered way between satellite and antenna. There may not be trees, buildings or other objects in the direct line of sight. Please check this first by yourself:
Go close to the place, where the installation of the satellite dish is planned. Turn southeast and lift your arm in an angle of 25 degrees. Now you point to the approximate direction of the satellite (Eutelsat Eurobird 28.5 degrees east) and see, if obstacles block the view. Before installation the mechanic will examine this again with precise measuring technique.
Permissions
You need the permission of the owner of the house and possibly even further permissions, if this is nessesary at your location. Please check this, before you order dsDSL. When we come to install the equipment we assume, you have to have all the nessesary permissions.
Location
The installation of the satellite dish reqiures a robust location with justification to the south east.
